The following from Dan Mosby concerning the organization that Brian Staples is flying for!Hello Group, My brother John is chief engineer at AIM AIR, where Brian Staples flies. He mentioned an urgent financial need that AIM AIR and SIM, (their aviation partner in Nairobi), are experiencing. When Samaritan’s Purse left Nairobi last year they took five aircraft with them, so AIM AIR and SIM now operate a fleet of Cessna aircraft consisting of two Grand Caravans, four 206’s, and one 210. In order to more efficiently meet the current needs of the two organizations, they have decided to sell SIM’s 206, and AIM’S 210, and acquire another Caravan, which uses less expensive jet fuel and hauls a bigger payload. SIM has a donor that agreed to contribute $700,000 if the remaining funds could be raised by early to mid May to purchase a used Caravan. Pray for the sale of the two aircraft which would bring approximately $400,000. They are asking groups or individuals to consider helping to meet the remaining need for approximately $300,000. I have included the link below with additional information about AIM AIR and details on how to contribute. Thanks for your prayers and consideration for helping to meet this need, Dan Mosby www.aimair.org/main/2012/12/a-gift-that-keeps-on-giving/
