"In Hostile Skies: An American B-24 Pilot in World War II" is the biography of James M. Davis. Davis was a young boy growing up in rural north Texas who became intrigued with aviation. This book is his life story. If you are interested in how flight training was done in WWII you will enjoy this book. Also, the details of flying the B-24 and the B-29 will be of interest to any pilot. Davis and all the other young men who flew bombers in WWII were incredibly brave. He explains why he thought he and his crew survived when so many did not. A very interesting read!! Attachments:
