Here is another good read for you WWII aviation buffs! This book takes you along with a young crew of naval pilots who in 1945 fear that the war will end without them. They soon find out that it would have been better if it had because they are thrust into the final and most brutal battle: Okinawa. Like the previous book I reviewed, you get to experience what these aviators on both sides of the conflict endured. You get a good look at the kamikaze effort and the young men who gave their all for their emperor and their homeland. The book has maps and pictures so that you can get a better idea of what these pilots went through, understanding the geographical perspective. All in all, a very interesting read!! Attachments:
