I took the gear off one of my Cubs this evening and put her floats on. The water rudder is retracted to fly off the snow... Once I have a feel for her on floats, I will wait till spring and fly it off a lake across the road... There are trees around the lagoons though, and no room for surprises, so flying off the snow at the R/C field should get me used to what I can expect. You may be interested to know that I made the tail number decal to match the number on my friends home-built (scratch-built) clip-wing Cub. I flew it this summer... Really fun to fly, but it's getting hard for me to get in and out... I'm trying to add the homebuilt picture above my model...
