I am just finishing reading a wonderful book, "The Resolution For Men". From the creators of the movies "Fireproof" and "Courageous" it is a challenge to men of faith. It is a call for men to live courageously for their faith and their families. It talks about shedding the chains of the past and 'manning up', learning from our past mistakes and then going forward for our wives and children.
If you've already read it, I'd like to hear your thoughts. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it!
From the book just prior to the introduction:
WEAK MEN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE CONTENTS OF THIS BOOK.
THE RESOLUTION IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART, AND THOSE WHO COMMIT TO IT WILL BE MORE ACCOUNTABLE IN THE FUTURE.
