Ah yes, the Shorts Bros. Skyvan. This is the airplane that started the statement; "When the airplane was first delivered the people who were putting it together got confused, threw away the plane and kept the crate it came in". It a great jump plane but not much support these days.

Would you believe that Chautauqua Airlines actually flew a newer version of that out of Jamestown, NY to PIT and BUF..? I didn't fly them, but the guys said they were horrible in iceing conditions... and trust me, in the winter, you DO NOT want to be flying into BUF, the ice machine from hell, in something that won't handle it well... I still have bad dreams about that...
