As we remember Braniff on the 40th anniversary of its demise recently, we remember their short-lived Concorde operations which lasted just 18 months from January 1979-May 1980. Braniff crews flew the SST (at subsonic speeds) between DFW and IAD, with British Airways and Air Frances taking over onward to LHR and CDG respectively.
