Trusting God in the Fog of Life By Will Graham
Ever wonder why God is allowing the chaos and pain that surrounds us?
What is His plan? Why is He seemingly silent as the world devolves? We can take encouragement in Isaiah 55:9, where God says, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Yet, we long to see clearly how the plan fits; how “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
We can learn from the Old Testament Prophet Habakkuk, who found himself in a situation similar to many of us today.
TODAY’S PRAYER Heavenly Father, help me to trust in Your promise that You’re always working things out for my good and Your glory. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Adapted from “How to Respond When the Fog of Life Overtakes Us,” Decision magazine, February 2022. Scripture quotations are taken from The Holy Bible, New King James Version.
