Who Shall Stand?

Much of American higher education is openly hostile to God’s truth, and the doctrinal and moral commitments of Biblical Christianity are ridiculed and hated.
Christians who hold to a Biblical understanding of sex, sexual morality, marriage and gender are now considered to be the enemies of human flourishing. Liberation, on most campuses, means liberation from the “oppressive” morality of the Bible.
The pressures are enormous. Society is moving quickly to consolidate and codify the sexual revolution and the LGBTQ movement as national policy. The academic world is even more liberal than the national culture. But the rest of society is catching up fast.
The Apostle Paul declares in Ephesians 6:14: “Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth.”
Who will stand, and who will fall?
TODAY’S PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Your Word declares that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. May I never waver on this eternal promise, no matter what culture claims to be true. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
