This time, folks, it was a trip back in time for me. I read this book eons ago, while in college. It was given to me this Christmas by my daughter-in-law, Tricia. The title? "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis.
If it's been a while or if you have never read it, please pick it up. Screwtape is a highly placed assistant to "Our Father Below" and in his letters he is attempting to assist his nephew, Wormwood, who is an entry level demon who is working to secure the soul of an ordinary, young Englishman.
There are moments of comic amusement mixed in with some very serious philosophical looks at how we can be tempted by "The Other!"
C. S. Lewis fell away from his faith and his beliefs before reconnecting and becoming such a tremendous writer, proclaiming the power and glory of our Lord and Savior. He knew first-hand how powerful tempation can be and the many forms it takes!
Your brother,
Don

Good recommendation Don. Screwtape is a good read.
Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis is another good one. It stays on my recurrent list.
