With little to do, or more correctly, little motivation, I was clicking through YouTube.com and came across this wonderful and vintage aviation video from when airplanes "sounded", "smelled", and got you "oily" like airplanes should. Avgas, oil, smoke and a bygone age. My father owned a hardware store, and after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, Dad was named the president of the National Hardware Assn. Dad, Mom and I flew from IND to ORD in a DC 3, then on to SFO in a DC 7... Of all the flying I've done in my life, I will remember that last trip with Dad more than any other flight(s) of my life... The big twin-row radials, the DC 3, DC 6 and 7's will forever remind me of this trip... and of Daddy... I love you Dad. Please enjoy the video... And God Bless all of my PCF friends.
