The FAA is planning a simulator study in OKC on the days of June 9-13 & 16-20. A separate crew - one Captain and one FO is required for each day. The study is open for all A320 and A330 pilots.
The study involves future applications using ADS-B and pilots with experience or familiarity with CDTI (Cockpit Display of Traffic Information) are preferred, but not a disqualifier if you are not familiar. The study will be conducted in the A330 full motion simulator.
You will need to Jump seat or non-rev to OKC the day before your session. The hotel will be set up for you at the Wyndham Garden. The FAA shuttle will pick you up around 0630 the morning of the study. Show time at FAA security is 0700. You will be met and escorted to the simulator building. The task should be completed by noon, but no later than 1:30 PM, and you will be free to depart.
You will receive $425.00 compensation, plus $99 per diem, hotel reimbursement; and airport parking or cab fees, if necessary. Once your date has been established, you will receive detailed information regarding hotel reservations, directions and other logistics.
This, of course, is a non-jeopardy event and your participation is important to future research. You will also be a part of ground breaking changes in the National Airspace System.
