John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. (NKJV)
When we live with someone we get to know them well, we form a bond or relationship. We are also in constant conversation with each other. Jesus tells us, "If anyone love Me, he will keep My Word; and We will come and make Our home with him." Read it this way (writer's paraphrase): Each day, spend time in My Word; and set aside time for prayer and reflection.
If you are not already doing so, take His challenge and give this a try. Jesus promises to send the Holy Spirit to "teach you all things." Anyone who already does so will attest to the fact that He is true to His Word.
